WHY WAIT FOR
REALITY? - EXPLORE THE 'VIRTUAL APARTMENT',
June 2006
Would-be purchasers of Bildurn's
Lace Market Square development in
Nottingham's won't have to wait until
the apartments are finished to see
what the latest city living looks
like - all they have to do is see
a new 'virtual apartment.'
This new virtual apartment, the first
of its kind in the county, can be
seen at Savills' offices on Fletcher
Gate close to the Lace Market development,
and can be explored closely, allowing
purchasers to view some of the high
quality choices of fixtures and fittings
available as standard in the Lace
Market Square apartments.
This apartment is exclusive to Lace
Market Square and features a contemporary
fitted kitchen and has stylish maple
flooring throughout. It shows the
specification choices available including
the striking white beech work surfaces
with an aluminium edge - one of a
choice of three from which purchasers
can choose, along with the popular
white glossy kitchen units.
Gail Richardson, Head of New Homes
at Savills commented; "This is
a really exciting opportunity for
potential purchasers to come and have
a look at what these stylish apartments
will be like. Buyers will also be
able to see a selection of the high
quality integral appliances that come
as standard in each apartment, such
as a Neff ceramic hobs and glass curved
hoods, Neff stainless steel oven,
Indesit dishwasher and washer/dryer.
We also have all of the tiling, mosaic
inserts and finish choices for the
apartments available so that purchasers
can get a real feel for the quality
and choice of options available at
this stunning new development."
All bathrooms at Lace Market Square
have standard features such as a heated
mirror, which means waving goodbye
to early morning mirror steaming problems!
Sanitary ware has been chosen from
Ideal Standard's 'Alto' range in white
with chrome fixtures. There are also
chrome heated towel rails and Makti
shower screens to baths.
Lace Market Square, due for completion
in spring 2007, has been designed
with both comfort and modern city
living in mind. The main entrance
will be secured by a coded entry system,
while the apartments feature outlets
for Sky Plus satellite TV, maple laminate
flooring in living areas, kitchen
and hallways, maple veneer internal
doors with stainless steel ironmongery,
and a state-of-the-art glazing system
keep heat in and noise out.
The virtual apartment has been styled
by one of Nottingham's leading interior
designers, Louise Hunt, of Your Space
Interiors, who specialises in residential
projects as well as the design of
show homes for leading commercial
agents and housebuilders.
Creating a snap shot of city living,
the virtual apartment features an
award winning Ligne-Roset contemporary
chair, abstract art and contemporary
extras from the flagship Nash Interiors
store on Carlton Street as well as
kitchen and dining accessories from
House of Fraser, enough to tempt you
to join the chic lifestyle that city
centre living brings.
The one, two and three bedroom apartments
and penthouses are all based around
an 11,000 sq ft public piazza - the
Lace Market's first open space - where
people can enjoy al fresco dining
or simply relax and soak up the city
ambience.
The apartments not only include secure
allocated underground parking but
secure cycle parking as well. For
those who prefer to use two feet instead
of two - or four - wheels for transport,
the development is within yards of
one of the city's tram stop, which
whisks travellers to the city's mainline
station. For peace of mind, each apartment
comes with a 10 year NHBC 'Buildmark'
guarantee.
Phase 2 of the scheme will be released
soon and almost half of the 46 apartments
have been reserved. Prices range from
£125,000 for a one-bed, one-bathroom
apartment, to £160,000-£190,000
for a two-bed, two-bathroom apartment,
all with secure underground parking.
